Redeemer is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod, a Confessional Lutheran Church body that holds to the inspired, inerrant Scriptures – the Old and New Testaments – as the only source and norm of faith.
We confess the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, as the Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier of the world. This God created the whole universe in six days, after which that creation fell into sin as a result of Satan’s temptation of Adam and Eve. But God through history enacted a plan of salvation, by sending his Son Jesus as a human being to live perfectly where we could not, and to die the death that we deserved. That Jesus then rose again on Easter morning to demonstrate to the world that the price was paid. To all who believe in him he gives forgiveness, life, and salvation.
Redeemer’s mission is to preserve the Word of God and his Sacraments purely in our midst, and to present the light of that Word to a world yet in darkness.
